Shortly after announcing my candidacy for Waupaca County Sheriff - I received a lot of online harassment via my “Officer Justin” Facebook page. This harassment included, but wasn’t limited to, posting our address publicly, posting security details about our wedding, posting my work schedule, calling me nasty names, photoshopping photos of me, and making false claims or accusations.

Due to this, I decided to hire an armed security guard to be at our wedding venue on June 14th, 2025. I also sent an email to the Sheriff’s Office advising them of such, and also requesting extra patrol around the wedding venue the day/evening of the wedding.

On the eve of our wedding, we received a harassing comment on our Facebook page asking how many armed security guards we were going to have on site. The ONLY people who knew of this information was the owner of the security company and the Sheriff’s Office. NOT even my Wife knew about this plan. Therefore, obviously, there was a security breach caused by the Sheriff’s Office. On July 20th, 2025, I filed a formal complaint with the Sheriff’s Office administration and the Waupaca County HR department. (Please see below email correspondence.)
