My Background

I have been in law enforcement as a certified law enforcement officer since 2013. I had been employed in law enforcement in Waupaca County since 2013. Not once, have I ever been accused of being dishonest or untruthful. Through-out my years of law enforcement, I have built a very credible reputation, involving several community members, school board members, city and county board members, Chiefs & Sheriffs, attorneys, expert witnesses, etc. I have testified in several high profile type cases. I have been involved in dozens, if not hundreds, of high profile felony cases. NOT once, have I ever been accused of dishonesty. If you were to ask my friends, co-workers, supervisors, acquaintances, or my family if I have ever been dishonest, they would all tell you absolutely not. If you were to ask my children if their daddy was ever dishonest, they would tell you absolutely not. They would actually tell you about a time when dad was under charged for an item that I had purchased recently. Daddy went back into the store to have them fix their mistake so I could pay the correct price on the item. That’s called integrity. I am a model for integrity. Integrity, morals, care, compassion, love for people. To be accused of anything to the contrary is an absolute disgrace.

I have been involved in our community within Waupaca County for the past 12 years. I have put literally thousands of volunteer hours into this county. I have sacrificed time with family to be with strangers. I have sacrificed friendships and relationships so I could serve strangers. This job wasn’t a difficult choice for me, it was a calling. A calling to serve. A calling to teach. A calling to help people. I am an instructor. I am a field training officer. I am an evidence room manager. I am an expert witness. I have taught classes to almost every ambulance service in this County, including items such as HIPPA. I have put on presentations to hundreds of our youth about honesty and making good decisions. I am that officer who others look up to. I am the one who everyone on my shift would call for advice. I am a resource to a LOT of people in this job, and in this profession. I can promise you one thing, you don’t gain that type of reputation in this profession by being dishonest or untruthful.

In addition, as I have written above, I have been involved in disciplinary interviews involving policy violations while at work. Anyone could answer with only half-truths, in hopes that it will make the outcome better. Anyone could try to fluff their answers or make it sound like certain things weren’t really that bad. Anyone could outright lie, knowing that their supervisor wouldn’t know the answer. I didn’t do that, nor would I ever do that. I went through a very difficult time in my life, where I lost my Grandpa, who was like a father to me. I went through a divorce. I then went through discipline at work. And I still told the truth.
