Through-out my career, especially recently, I have received an overwhelming amount of support from my community. I have received thank you cards, inspirational messages, and success stories from people who I once arrested. It is these things that drive me in this career field today! It is these things that make me want to be that much bigger leader - that this county so desperately needs right now.
Below - you will get to see dozens and dozens of examples of why I love what I do. These are the REAL endorsements that should matter to a “politician”. It’s not the endorsements from your fellow colleagues (who are part of the overall problem)… It’s not the endorsements from other politicians… It surely isn’t the endorsements from a political party who could care less of what their constituents and community members want. I’d rather have an endorsement from my fellow community member any day!

“Hi Justin. I just saw your post about the updates on the wrong way driving signage. Thank you for your work on this! I was one of the people who called in the one on 10/Q last Wednesday. I actually saw them turn left off of Q coming right towards me! Since then I tried to notice the wrong way signs at that intersection and nearly every time I stopped at the same stop sign as that car, one of the wrong way signs was totally blocked by the sign for Cty Q! I took a picture one of those days in case showing how the sign was blocked would be helpful. I don't think FB will let me send it in my first message with you, but I will try after I send this. Otherwise I can email it if you'd like it.”
-
“Hey there, we live by *** and my kids always talk about you. Now we are all wondering where you went! Are you still working for Waupaca County Sheriff Dept or did you go somewhere else? You left a lasting impact on my kiddos.”
-
“I just watched you video. honestly I really did not pay attention for a lot of years. I havecstopped drinking for 7 years now. luckily when I did drink I did not hurt anyone. I look back now days and think that was so dumb. yet when a person is in the bottle they never seem to think about getting behind the wheel. not sure how a person can get that point across to the guy in the bottle. I have seen friends straight up die from being drunk 24-7 young guys. I have a friend that was dry heaving everyday from drinking for 40 years. finally he was arrested by yourself and now he is 3 years sober. that made him realize shit wasn't good. I really hope you get one or 2 folks to think about it after watching this. keep on keeping us safe thank you for your service to our county. it sucksvwatching friends go down that rabbit hole of booze. I started stealing booze out of home cabinets at 13 years old. way way to young. same with friend that died of it. all he drank was Miller lite. enough to kill a guy. sad.”
-
“Hi there, I love your car seat safety video. Thank you to you and your girls. I am an RN who works with children and would like to share. Thank you for all you do for the community!”
-
“I just wanted to reach out and say thank you so much for seeing what I see with Casey and making it known. I’m ***** and I've got to say that this family is truly blessed. The whole family has such a strong work ethic that puts anyone to shame these days and they do it with a smile/ positive attitude! So truly, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you've done.”
-
“Hello Officer Justin, I just saw your video on Casey! Nice job! I first met him when working at Beck’s Pub And Grill out in West Bloomfield. His dad drives him out and he also picks up cans there. A couple years ago I thought it would be cool if people would collect cans for him. We could have collection bins that say “cans for Casey.” but I never got around to making that happen. I think people who have cans at home would also collect to give him.
Great inspirational story. Thank you so much. And
Thank you for everything you do!” -
”Officer Justin, as someone who is working towards the goal of becoming a deputy for the Waupaca County sheriff’s department, I would love nothing more than to have someone as dedicated and compassionate as you for a Sheriff. You have my vote! thank you for all that you do.”
-
“hey officer Justin I used to live in weyauwega as a matter of fact I was born and raised there. I love your piece on Casey the can man. he's been doing it for so many years is there any way possible that the city of weyauwega could put him on payroll. like maybe a city-wide petition or something he deserves it. one of the most gracious guys you could ever meet and he helps keep the city clean. what are your thoughts?”
-
“Just wanted to tell you your doing a good job.”
-
“You’re nothing but fair idk if you remember me from Wega or my roll over on W between new lo and readfield. But you’ve been nothing but great for every community your part of. So best of luck on your endeavors hope life is well”
-
“Just wanted to say thank you for taking time and speaking at schools about impaired driving. THANK YOU!”
-
“You’re a really good guy and for once in my life, I can truly say I respect and appreciate a cop for everything he does! Even getting the bad guys lol. Shocker right lol? But that and just the service you do, what you stand for and the integrity behind it. It’s the exact opposite of how so much of world seem to be operating right now so having you lead our county is such a blessing. Positivity and lifting people up in the community regardless of their situation.. We just need real leaders cuz real leaders make real change and tend to go however far they have to for whats RIGHT. You’ve inspired so many ppl man.. Then here I am, grown as shit just watching that video where ya took that one younger guy with health problems on a ride along and then spoke up about letting any kind of health condition get in your way or kill your dreams and ya almost had made me tearin up lol.. Idk, just makes me happy seeing things like that cuz we don’t see it enough unfortunately. But okay awesome! It’ll be a landslide win so just get yourself ready I’ve got more than enough confidence in you and our people but k, I’ll save your number right now. Appreciate you too tho man! Keep doing what you do and have a good rest of your day!”
-
“Congrats to you on winning this . my son has been dealing with same kind of issues with a DA. your fortunate to be a officer that they will listen to . congratulations again . way to go”
-
“Hey Officer Justin, hope you’re having a great evening so far. I just wanted to say I support you in everything and thank you for what you’re doing. To be truthful I’ve scrolled past your posts because from all that I’ve been apart of, weyauwega sucks, the Justice system worse, and everyone’s a bunch of people competing for who’s better than the other or who has it worse. No one is actually grateful for a roof over their head or their children in their arms. There always has to be something else to reach and that’s what bothers me. What truly caught my attention was your dedication to spreading awareness about the Gonzalez’s death and that really hit home because Lillian or what we called her “Lilly” was my best friend and after I received that text I became a stickler on drinking and driving. Despite me being a teen I have never touched Alcohol and never will and I feel like nobody talks about those kinds of impacts “accidents” or deaths have on people. While one person might be drinking their pain away the other refuses to even touch alcohol. I hate the Justice system we have today. No one trusts it and for that reason everything around it crumbles. Mistakes happen yes but they shouldn’t happen 5 times before it’s too late. At that point it’s just the shrug of the shoulders not even a slap on the wrist. I appreciate what you’re standing up for and I hope you get the Justice the Gonzalez family couldn’t.”
-
“I just watched your video about the Republican party parade. This has made my decision VERY easy. Please feel free to place a sign in my yard!”
-
“Justin,
I would like to hear more about what you stand for.
I reacted to you because I am angry about what is happening at the jail and how the D.A. has treated our family. I don’t want to be motivated by anger. It sounds like you have already heard from angry people.
I want to have a sheriff and DA with a sense of justice and hope for the future.
I have decided that sharing my story will only add fuel to the fire.
I hope that you can change the anger that many of us feel into hope.” -
“just wanted to personally say thank you for fighting against the corruption. ******
So I know first hand that there is still corruption going on internally and there are good cops out there fighting for justice. fighting to break down that "good ol boys" club. I see what you're doing and it's probably super scary, but it's impressive. it was scary for me and I'm not a cop. lol.
So please don't stop. People will try to intimidate you, they will use words to put you down, but there are people who see through that. There are people who want justice.” -
“Best of luck! With my position on city council, I never put my political beliefs on fb but know I support you!”
-
“"Hello sir. my name is ****. I believe we have met before, if not I would imagine we have same friends.
I will be returning from doing frontline civilian evacuations here in Donbas, Ukraine. With time and inspiration our community will have representation. I’m coming back to serve for the District 8th Congressional seat. I figure… we need to vote in people who know the words “to serve”.Let’s go fishing or grab a coffee once I’m back. I have been following your battle. Not good. That man could simply say. “It’s been an honor to serve this community, I resign.”
And about your GOP battle! Hahah dude, no soup for you!!!
I find this to be weak for the Waupaca County GOP… I mean, come on.”
-
“as a ** year veteran of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and resident of ****, I fully support you in your bid for Sheriff.”
-
“im interested to know more about this case of yours, I feel like Waupaca County is corrupt as you say, im i just would like to understand more what you are going through. I feel like you truly are a honest and caring person that wouldn't use your power to falsely accuse anyone. just know im on your side. but I'd like more information just to educate myself.
Also how can I help”
-
“Hi! I’m a big fan of the change you’re trying to make in waupaca county. I saw you are doing speeches about the effects of drunk driving using the Gonzalez family as an example, I think that is absolutely beautiful. My friend **** was killed by a drunk driver, today is his 7 years since his passing.
I hope when you win in the election for sheriff that you will do as much as you possibly can to make sure drunk drivers are actually punished instead of continuing to receive a slap on the wrist.
Thank you very much for your time and good luck in the election!” -
“Absolutely! I love that you're all getting organized now. The community I am part of and talk to ***** are very excited that you're running for the position. I hope that you'll receive a ton of support and help.”
-
“We have two good straightway sections for a big sign. I worked for **** PD and ***** County as a dispatcher and believe in your cause! Waupaca county needs change!”
-
“Hey Officer Justin! My address is *****. I also wanted to take the time quick to thank you as well for everything you have done and continue to do. Your job is by far a hard one, and you definitely do not get enough credit foe everything you do every single day, by just putting your life on the line to ensure everyone else is safe. Your dedication to keeping us safe does not go unnoticed. You’re courage is something to be admired. I work for ccs **** county for individuals that are on a chapter 51 commitment ....during crisis, officers are the only ones I can rely on to not only keeping my individuals safe, but me as well. Keep on doing what you’re doing. I love that you’re an open book, very cool. Congratulations on the recent marriage! She’s gorgeous! You’re right, the truth will prevail!”
-
“You are very welcome. We are very happy to support you and what you stand for. We have been following your story and agree politics do not belong not only in law enforcement but school districts, fire and EMS.”
-
“Your welcome, you did awesome work her in weyauwega. We need more of you, that listens to us. The few cops I said something to sure didnt stick to what they said they would do”
-
“No problem I appreciate you and all you’ve done for the community!”
-
“Iola…I live in an apartment but this is my sons address and the bigger the sign the better he said. Thank you!!”
“Excellent, I put you down for a BIG sign. Thanks again!!”
'“No thank you!! Best of luck to you!!”
-
“I would like to help with your campaign in anyway you’d need. I have 10+ years of people management, 15+ years of customer service experience and a pretty well connected pod of people in the Waupaca Area. Please let me know if you’d like my help and id love to talk of how I could be a benefit to you! Have a great day!”
-
“I/ we are excited to help support you in any way I can.. it's time for fresh new people in charge of Waupaca County.. I feel you are the right guy for the job...best of luck to you. Justin... we are with you”
-
“Smear campaigns dont work.
Take the high road!
Do the good!
People will know.
Good luck!” -
“Hey Justin, I know we have a small rough patch from when you first started here in wega, but I think we both know it's due to who they had you training with. I've known since I was very young that waupaca County was and still is beyond crooked and I'll be voting for you 100% if you want to put a yard sign in my front yard or let me know when I could pick one up I'd like to have one out to support you man.”
-
“I feel the county is really full of glorified good Ole boys who don't really want to improve the county. Take the county website you can't even sign up for alerts for county board meetings only code red. Property tax bills alerts residents have to wait for a paper copy only
Mental health is a business not a priority *** when I asked her about where the arpa funds went to see if we could use that money to improve health no response from her
The corruption is deeper than just the sheriff's office i think you would bring some balance to the sheriff's office as sheriff
I do support you for sheriff's office”
-
“Officer Malueg,
My name is ****, and I have a tremendous respect for what you're doing in Waupaca.
I lost my long fight against Wilz, ***, the *** firm, and the ever replaceable DA's sent by Josh Kaul- despite my best efforts and while having the obvious truth and labeled receipts on my side.
If you're interested- I would like to touch base and see if there's anything I can do to help your cause.”
-
“Congratulations Justin on the new job! I'm sure you'll do great things down there. You're one of the main reasons I got into law enforcement, after our ride alongs when I was in college. I wish you the best of luck.”
