Sergeant Speaks Out

On August 19th, 2025, Sergeant Autumn Curtis wrote the below post on her Facebook page. Sgt. Curtis was actively involved in my internal investigation, in which I ended up challenging and am still challenging to this day. Question - how is a sergeant actively involved in an internal affairs investigation allowed to post details in regard to it on her private social media account?

Not to mention that her post is littered with falsehood and half-truths. I love Waupaca County and most of its amazing employees that work there, especially the ones I have served with at the Sheriff’s Office. 90-95% of them are hard-working, dedicated individuals who do an incredible job. Hell, I am friends with a large amount of them - most of them keep their mouth shut in fear of retaliation. It is the other 5-10% that I refer to as “the Good Ole Boys” club who get special treatment and should seek another career field other than law enforcement. If you aren’t going to treat everyone the same - with love, respect, and dignity, then you shouldn’t be in law enforcement. Period.

Sgt. Curtis is part of the “club” - plain and simple. If you take the time to read the comments on her post, and you look to see who shared her post, you will see a lot of familiar names. These names all someway or somehow fall back to the “club.” For example:

Example #1: Heidi Studzinski commented saying, “You speak for so many!” This is Chief Deputy Kevin Studzinski’s wife. Chief Deputy Studzinski and Sgt. Curtis are friends. How do I know this? See photos below. You don’t take photos like this at a wedding when you are her supervisor! He literally is making a goofy face on video chat in one photo and Sgt. Curtis has her hand on his chest in the other photo.

Example #2: Which brings me to Kimberly Allard. She commented saying, “Well said gf. Which is why we don’t throw stones if we live in a glass house.” First of all, please refer to the same two photos below. Kim is in both of these photos. Chief Deputy Studzinski (I believe) was her Comm. Center Captain at the time. If not, he was still the Patrol Lieutenant - which would still make him their supervisor. Kim was also engaged in some very unethical type behavior with another employee.

Example #3: Alexis Brockman “liked” several comments under Sgt. Curtis’s post. Alexis is married to Deputy Alec Brockman, or Det. Sgt. Brockman now, as he was recently promoted. Det. Sgt. Brockman was involved in a review by an attorney’s office for sexual harassment within the department. I, was one who often was harassed by Brockman. He often would make fun of me for being friends with another officer, who was gay. He also would make fun of my family and how I was dressed. Instead of being held accountable for that sick behavior, he got promoted.

Example #4: Adam Wogsland “liked” a comment under Sgt. Curtis’s post. Adam is the Jail Captain and recently named “Undersheriff”. Capt. Wogsland should also be the last one to be involved on social media - and allowing a sergeant to make such a post. Capt. Wogsland was sued several years ago for workplace harassment, and lost multiple cases. He shouldn’t even be in law enforcement, alone being a Captain and an Undersheriff.

Example #5: This example is probably the most problematic one of the whole bunch. K.T. Roberts commented, “Thank you for speaking out!”. This would be the Waupaca County District Attorney, Kat Turner. She, of all people, has been proven to be one of the most untrustworthy public officials Waupaca County has ever had. There is documentation to prove dozens of lies and mistruths spoken from DA Turner.

Records Clerk Speaks Out

On October 7th, 2025, Heather Gall, a Records Clerk with the Sheriff’s Office had to also make a post on her private Facebook page regarding my internal affairs investigation. Heather Gall was the one who originally went to a supervisor and claimed that I tried to undermine a patrol sergeant by calling her and asking questions about a report. She made up a completely false claim stating that I called her with the sole intent to disregard an order I had just gotten from my patrol sergeant minutes prior. This is absurd. Now, I ask the question once again - how is she allowed to spew this information on her Facebook page to the public? Isn’t any and all information regarding an internal affairs investigation kept confidential? But she “just cannot stay silent anymore” about this. Well, I’m pretty sure policy and privacy laws say you have to keep certain information confidential.

She also makes a comment about how I have the “undertone that a records clerk was someone that was beneath him and someone that doesn’t deserve respect.” This couldn’t be further from the truth. The point I was making and continue to make is why would I call a records clerk to ask for permission to disregard an order from a patrol sergeant?? It’s a very logical question to ask. That question has nothing to do with showing respect toward the position itself. The records clerk positions are one the most important and stressful jobs there are at the Sheriff’s Office, constantly needing to have policy, laws, and civil liability on your mind at all times. I love and appreciate everyone who does this job.

She since has turned her comments off so no one is allowed or able to leave comments. Prior to doing this, most of the comments were from the same “Good Ole Boys” members of the Sheriff’s Office. If you look under the “likes”, you will see some of the same names mentioned above.
